Instructions: Bases (make 2)
TIP: When crocheting with T-shirt yarn be sure not to crochet too tight, it will make it a little harder to get your hook in the st.
With your yarn and 8mm hook make a magic circle,
R1: ch1, in magic circle make 6 sc, pull on the end yarn to close the circle. You will be working in the round so you will not need to sl st with the first sc you made, but you will be placing your st marker on the first st of every new round.
R2: 2sc in each st around, 12 sc in totalR3: [sc, 2sc in next] repeat all around, 18 sc in totalR4: [sc next 2 st, 2sc in next] repeat all around, 24 sc in total R5: [sc next 3 st, 2sc in next] repeat all around, 30 sc in total R6: [sc next 4 st, 2sc in next] repeat all around, 36 sc in total R7: [sc next 5 st, 2sc in next] repeat all around, 42 sc in total R8: [sc next 6 st, 2sc in next] repeat all around, 48 sc in total
TIP: Sc in the next 3 st place your st marker, this will ensure that your circle be a circle and not a polygon. Doing this every handful of rows will give you a circular shape rather than a Polygon shape. Just be sure to repeat them at the same points for the second base piece.
R9: [sc next 7 st, 2sc in next] repeat all around, 54 sc in total R10: [sc next 8 st, 2sc in next] repeat all around, 60 sc in total
R11: [sc next 9 st, 2sc in next] repeat all around, 66 sc in total R12: [sc next 10 st, 2sc in next] repeat all around, 72 sc in total
R13: [sc next 11 st, 2sc in next] repeat all around, 78 sc in totalR14: [sc next 12 st, 2sc in next] repeat all around, 84 sc in totalR15: [sc next 13 st, 2sc in next] repeat all around, 90 sc in totalR16: [sc next 14 st, 2sc in next] repeat all around, 96 sc in totalR17: [sc next 15 st, 2sc in next] repeat all around, 102 sc in total, sl st with the next st, fasten off. For Small Repeat R1-17 but do not fasten off for the second one.
Continue below for Medium and Large
For Medium Size:
R18-36:
Continue to increase 1 sc in between increase. You will increase 6 st each round, at the end of

Work about 10 inches, then lightly stuff the wall, continue like so working about 10 inches and stuff. Once you’ve reached the end, turn your work right side, stuff the openings if they need more and you will stitch up the ends with the black yarn. Hide all loose tails.

Make a 2nd ear.
You will sew your ear to the top of the side walls at the opening of the pet bed.

With worsted weight yarn (cream) and 4mm hook make a sl knot and ch40
R1: in 2nd ch from hook make 3 sc, *4 sc in next ch* repeat from * to the end of the ch, it will curl on itself, do not fasten off,
Ch40 again and repeat R1, do this again for a 3rd time you will have 3 whiskers, sl st with the first whisker you made and fasten off, leaving about an 8 inch tail to sew your whiskers to your pet bed.
Make your 2nd one and attach them to your bed.

With your black yarn and 9mm hook (if your yarn is bulky weight use the 8mm)
