Gauge:​ With 3.75mm/F hook, 16st by 16 rows = 4 inches
Size:​ This pattern is made Straight style maxi dress, meaning there is no tapering at the hips or waist. So when choosing your size you may need to pick the larger of your hips or bust and make that size.

You will need to choose 3 Colors of Woltraum My Melody 4ply (heavy fingering) Fiber: 50% Cotton, 50% Acrylic

Instructions:
Working Flat you will begin your dress at the bottom and work your way up a few inches below your armpit.
The Body
With your hook and Color A, make a slip knot and ch 205 (221, 237, 253, 269, 301, 317, 333)

Time to Sew the side Seam of the Body

Fold your work in half so edge matches edge, making sure the wrong side is facing you. You will now seam the side together matching st to st row to row, leaving 7 stripes untouched at the bottom, this is for the opening at the leg. You can either sew together the side or use your yarns and sl st them together your choice.
Once you have seamed your work, turn it right side facing, with the seam at the side.
Front and Back Panels

With your Color B yarn, Find the first peak from the right side of your seam, you will join at the middle st of the 3sc of that peak ( see pic above)

Work your Right Panels from the front and back first, then move on to the Left Panel of the front and back.

Repeat this again for the Back Right panel. Then move onto the Left Panels for the Front and Back.

The Straps

With the color you choose for your straps, at the front of your work, the peak or pointy part of the Panels, join your yarn in the Right Panel first at the point, you will count 4 st, if you choose you can make yours wider,Row 1: ch1, sc across the 4 st, turn your work. Repeat that until you reach the desired length you need you strap to be. It should reach the matching back panel. I made mine 24 rows
Join by either slip stitching your strap to the same st on the back or sew them in. Repeat for the other strap. Hide all loose tails and you are done!
