The Thumb:
With the hook for your size, join yarn in the first dc from Round 5,
Round 1: ch3 (counts as dc) pick up 11dc around, sl st with the first dc.
Rounds 2-4: ch3 (counts as dc), dc in each st, sl st with the first dc.
At the end of the 4th round Fasten off, with your tapestry needle sew the hole closed, hide all loose tails on the wrong side of your work.
