If you wish not to add fringe to your coverup you can hide all your loose tails now, including those along the bottom. If you are adding fringe, then leave those be and hide any other loose tails.

Turn your work right side facing you.

Lace Up Tie:

With your crochet hook and 2 strands of MC yarn, make a slip knot and make a ch about 40-50 inches long. Fasten off and now you will lace up your V neck opening.
Thread through the ch1 spaces, thread through the first ch1 space closest to the bottom of the v opening, making sure to go through the opposite side as well, you will then continue to criss cross your tie string every 3rd ch1 sp 3 times. You can now add some beads to your string if you would like or just knot it.
You will want to cut your yarn 12 inches in length. You will use 2 strands per row, so cut how ever many your size may need. I chose to do MC on MC rows and CC on CC rows, but you do you!
Take 2 strands fold it in half, with your hook pass it through the dc from the row, hook your yarn loop and pull through, YO and pull through the loop, pulling the ends to secure the fringe. Repeat along your bottom. You can trim if necessary, You are Done my Friends, I hope you enjoy your Cover up!
