Skill level: BeginnerSize: One size about 5 1⁄2 inches by 6 inches
You will need:
1 skein Berroco Comfort Dk (dk weight #3 yarn)
50% Super Fine Nylon, 50% Super Fine AcrylicBall weight: 210 yards/100g/3.5oz
Crochet hook 3.75mm/F Tapestry needle

Stitches Used:
Sc: single crochet Dc: double crochet Ch: chain
Sl st: slip stitch
if you are a loose crocheter you may want to drop a hook size, you will want a tight fabric and the
nature of the Griddle stitch helps that.
With your hook and yarn make a slip knot, ch 25

Row 1: in the 2nd ch from your hook make sc, dc in next ch,* sc in next ch, dc in next ch* repeat from *to* across ending with a dc. Turn your work.
Row 2: ch1, *sc in the top of the dc from previous row, dc in top of sc from previous row* repeat from *to* across ending with a dc. Turn your work.
Rows 3-54: Repeat Row 2 or until your piece measures 15 1⁄2 inches, Fasten off. Your piece will measure about 5 1⁄2 inches (13 1⁄2 cm) by 15 1⁄2 inches (39 1⁄2 cm)
Assemble your Pouch

Laying your work in front of you, you will fold the top flap down about 3 1⁄2 inches, then fold the bottom up over the top flap, it should be about 6 inches by 5 1⁄2 inches now, instead of 15 1⁄2 by 5 1⁄2 inches.
You can sew with a tapestry needle or sc as I have done. Starting at the top you will join the side pieces together, making sure to join all 3 layers when you get to that point. Join your yarn and sc through all the layers down the side to seam them closed. Fasten off, Repeat for the other side.
Hide all loose tails.

Turn your work right side out.

Then you will fold the flap over to the other side and you are done!
