You will need:
3 skeins Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick (super bulky weight #6) Color: Starlight
Fiber: 80% acrylic, 20% wool
Ball weight: 5oz/87yds/140g
1 skein Vanna White Glamour (fingering weight #2)

Color: Topaz
Fiber: 96% polyester, 4% metallic polyester Ball weight: 1.75oz/202yds

Crochet hook 8mm and 4.25mm
2 large round wood handles 

Scissors
Tapestry needle
Fabric to line the inside of your purse, if you dont line your bag you may want to use cosmetic bags to hold your small thing as these items can slip through the stitches of the fabric.
Stitches Used:
Sc: single crochet
Hdc: Half Double crochet Sl st: slip stitch
YO: yarn over

Instructions:
With your crochet hook and your handle, pass your hook under the handle, grab the yarn, bring the yarn back to the front of the handle, pull up and Yarn over and pull through the loop on your crochet hook *go back under the handle with hook, yarn over and back under the handle, you will have 2 loops on

your hook, yarn over and pass through 2 loops* repeat from *to* until you have 42st. Remember to make sure that your tension is not too loose or too tight when working around the handle.
Row 1: ch1, sc in each st across. 42 sc, Turn your work.Row 2: ch1, hdc in each st across, 42 Hdc. Turn your workRow 3-36: repeat row 2
Row 37: grab your second handle, pass your hook under the handle, YO, and pass it back under the handle and pass it through the loop on your hook, * insert your hook in the next st, pass your hook under the handle, YO, pass hook back through the stitch (you will have 2 loops on your hook), YO pass through both loops on hook* repeat from *to* across, remember to keep your tension loose but not too tight or too loose, at the end of your row sl st with the side of the row and fasten off your work.
Assemble Sides:
With the wrong side facing you, fold your bag in half so it is even, and the handles match up.
Count 4 rows down from the handle, pass your hook through both sides of your bag, join your yarn, you will sl st the sides together matching both sides as you go, when you reach the bottom of the bag, fasten off. Repeat for the other side of your bag, hide all loose tails on the wrong side of your work.
Ruffle
Turn your bag right sides facing you.
With your smaller hook and golden yarn, count from the bottom right corner 3 rows up, pass your hook through the loop on that 3rd row at the edge, join your yarn,
Round 1: ch1, sc in the same st, 2sc in each st across until you reach the other side seam, then you will turn your bag and work the same on the other side making 2sc in each of the st across, making sure that the row lines up with the first sc you made.
Round 2: 3sc in each st around.Round 3-5: 3sc in each st around, fasten off and hide all loose tails.
You may want to line your bag now with a fabric liner or if you choose to leave it make sure to use cosmetic bags to hold your little things.
