You will want to work another set of sc rows and star rows and if it is to tight, just increase by 6 more in the sc rows between the star rows. By increasing more you will have 2 extra stars for every 6st you increase. Remember try on your suit as you go if you want it to have a prefect fit adjust where needed.
Fasten off and hide all loose tails. You are done with the body of the suit. Now you will work on the shoulder straps.
Shoulder Straps:
Below is for the written sizes S/M/L, If you increased more for your top you will have to adjust the st count for the strap placements.
You will lay your suit in front of you and with your stitch markers you will mark the side seams of your suit. Placing 1 marker on the left side and 1 on the right. Making sure you have the same number of st in the back and the front. If you are off by one st no worries, put the extra st in the front of your work like I did.
Starting at the right stitch marker you will count 18(20,24)st towards the front and join your yarn in the 19th (21st, 24th)st
Row 1: ch3 in second chain from hook insert hook and yo pull yarn through the loop, repeat that in the 3rd chain from hook as well as the next 3 sc, you will have 6 loops on your hook, yo and draw hook through all loops, ch2,* in the base of the chain 2 (refer to the pic above for Row 3 of the star stitch), little opening that was just made insert your hook and yo, pull yarn through the opening, insert your hook in the base of the last st you made as well as the next 3 sc, you will have 6 loops on your hook, YO and pull through all loops, ch2* You will repeat from *to* until you have 3 half stars made, sc in the next st and turn your work around.
Row 2: ch1, *at the top of the half star you made in the previous round (refer to pic above for Row 4 of the star stitch) you will make 3 hdc* you will repeat from *to* across you will have 9hdc in total, sc in the last st, ch1 and turn your work. Total of 10st
Row 3: sc in each st across, ch1 and turn your work. 10sc
Row 4: (decrease row): sc2tog, sc in the next 2st, sc2tog, sc in the next 2 st, sc2tog, ch1 and turn your
work. You will have 7sc in total.
Row 5: repeat row 1 but you will only make 2 stars.
Row 6: Repeat row 2, but you will have 6 hdc and 1 sc for a total of 7st
Row 7-8 sc in each st across, ch1 and turn your work. 7sc
Row 9-47 (51,55): Repeat rows 5-8, you will have a total of 12(13,14) star rows.
If you feel your strap wont be long enough add repeat 5-8 until you get the length minus 1 inch.
Row 48 (52, 56) (increase row) 2sc in the first st, sc in the next 2st, 2sc in next st, sc in next 2 sc, 2sc in the last st. Turn your work. You will have a total of 10sc
Row 49-50(52-53,56-57): Repeat row 1-2. You will follow the row as is, you will have 3 stars again Row 51(54,58): sc in each st across, 10sc
Do not Fasten off you will now join your strap to the back of your work.

On the back count 28(30,34)st from the st marker and you will now place the strap and the body of the suit right sides together and you will sl st your work with the wrong side facing you. Sl st through the

loop that is closest to you on the strap and furthest from you on the suit across the next 10st, sl st in the next st of the body of the suit and fasten off.
For the second strap you will work rows 1-51(54,58) the same and you will also join the strap to the suit the same. But instead of joining your yarn in the 19th (21,25)st you will join it in the 28th (30th, 34th)st from the front of your work at the left st marker and you will join the strap to the back in the 19th (21,25) from the st marker. Fasten off and hide all loose tails.
Edging:
Turn your work with the back side facing you. You will now work an edging around the armhole openings and neck.
You will be working the armholes first. Join your yarn at the back of your suit in any st of the armhole area. Ch1, sc in the same st, you will sc in each st until you reach the strap, you will now sc in each row you made until you reach the front of your suit, sc in each st around till you reach the back of your work to the first sc you made, sl st with it and fasten off.
You will repeat the same for the second armhole opening, starting in the back of your suit and sc around to the strap, sc in each row of the strap and sc until you reach the 1st st you made, sl st and fasten off.
Now you will join your yarn at the center of your back and you will ch1, sc in the same st, sc in each st until you reach a strap, you will sc in each row along till you reach the front of your work, sc in each st until you reach the next strap, sc in each row, sc in each st until you reach the first st you made, sl st with it and fasten off.
Hide all loose tails.
Edging for the bottom
Join your yarn at the back of your work for the leg opening, you will be picking up 2 sc for every 3 rows until you reach the crotch, there you will pick up 1sc per row, then again picking up 2sc for every 3 rows for the front until you reach the ch8, here you will sl st in each st, sl st with the first st you made and fasten off. You will repeat this for the other side your leg opening, making sure to match the same number of st you used on the 1st side.
