You will Need:
Crochet hook : 3.25mm
Tapestry Needle
3 skeins of Sugar'n Cream Yarn "Culinary Colors"
2 skeins of Berroco Comfort in Color 9724 (Orangina)
2 skeins of Berroco Comfort in Color 9724 (Orangina)
Stitches used
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
dc: double crochet
st: stitches
sk: skip
st: stitches
sk: skip
Gauge and measurements:
For the Sugar'n Cream yarn, and the shell st, it is 17 stitches, and 5 rows for a 4 inch square swatch
For the Berroco yarn it is 21 stitches and 7 rows for a 4 inch square swatch!!!
Waist: 12 inches
Outside of shoulders: 10 inches
Bottom : 38 inches
Pattern (Size is for 7-8 Little Girl)

Begin by making a Ch 112 st long,
Row 1: in second ch from hook, sc, sc in next st, [ch, sk next st, and 2sc] repeat all along, turn
to make things clear this row's pattern goes: [2sc, ch, skip a st] all along, turn
Row 2: ch3, [3dc in next ch from previous row] all along you will have 36 shells, dc in the last st, turn
Row 3: sc, [sk next st, ch, 2sc] repeat all along, turn
Row 4: ch3, [3dc in next ch from previous row] all along
Row 5: 2sc, [sk next st, ch, 2sc] repeat all along, turn
Row 6-12: [repeat row 3 and 4] ,
Row 13: Repeat row 1
Row 14: sl st 5, ch3, you are beginning to make the arm opening
dc in ch sp from row 13, 3dc in each of next 14 ch sp,
dc in next ch sp and in next st, turn
First back shoulder
Row 16: ch3, dc in next ch sp, [3dc in next ch from previous row] 12 times finish with dc in next ch sp and in last st , turn
Row 18: ch3, [3dc in next ch from previous row] 3 times, dc in next ch sp and in next st, turn
Row 19: Ch, [sk next st, 2sc]3 times, turn
Row 20: ch3, 3dc in next 3 ch sp, turn
Row 21: ch3, 3dc in next 3 ch sp, turn
Fasten off
Second back shoulder
Row 15: sl st at other side at shoulder,Row 16: Ch, sc [sk next st, 2sc]3 times, turn
Row 17: ch3, 3dc in next 3 ch sp, turn
Row 18: ch, sc, ch sk st 2sc, sk st, ch, 2sc, sk st, ch . sc.turn
Row 19: ch3, 3dc in next 3 ch sp, turn
First front Shoulder:I always make front shoulder longer then back
sl st in 6th st, ch3,
dc in next st,
[3dc in next 3 ch sp, ] 14 times,
dc in next ch sp, dc in next st, turn
Row 12: ch, 2sc, [sk st, ch 2sc] 13 times, sk st, ch, sc turn
Row 13: ch3, dc in next st, [3dc in next 3 ch sp, ] 12 times, dc in next ch sp, dc in next st, turn
Row 14:ch, 2sc, [sk st, ch 2sc] 12 times, turn
Row 15: ch3, 3dc in next 3 ch sp, turn
dc in next st,
[3dc in next 3 ch sp, ] 14 times,
dc in next ch sp, dc in next st, turn
Row 12: ch, 2sc, [sk st, ch 2sc] 13 times, sk st, ch, sc turn
Row 13: ch3, dc in next st, [3dc in next 3 ch sp, ] 12 times, dc in next ch sp, dc in next st, turn
Row 14:ch, 2sc, [sk st, ch 2sc] 12 times, turn
Row 15: ch3, 3dc in next 3 ch sp, turn
Row 16: ch,sc, [sk next ch, 2sc], 3 times, turn
Row 17-25: repeat row 17-18-19
Fasten off
Second front shoulder:
Row 15: skip six 3 dc shells ,sl t in next ch sp, ch3, 2dc in same sp, 3dc in next two ch spaces, dc in last st

Row 16: ch, sc, [sk next st, 2sc, ch],sc turn
Row 17: ch3, 2dc in same ch sp and 3 in next 2 ch sp, turn
Row 18: ch,sc [sk next st, 2sc, ch],sc turn
Row 19: ch3, 2dc in same ch sp and 3 in next 2 ch sp, turn
Row 20: ch,sc [sk next st, 2sc, ch],sc turn
Row 25: ch3, 2dc in same ch sp and 3 in next 2 ch sp, turn
Fasten off
Turn your work upside down, and sew the shoulders together
Sew the side seam as well
Sew in all loose tails
Body of the Dress
Take your orange yarn and with your work turn back to it's right side and upside down, sl st next to the side seamRound 1: [sc, 2scin next st] all around
Round 2: ch3, dc, ch, sk a st, [2dc, ch, sk s st] all around

This is the basic Pattern Chart, for the skirt part of this dress,
it might help you...if it does not , keep following the step by step :-)
Round 3: ch, 2sc, sk 2 st, [3sc, 5ch, sk2, ] all around, end with a sl in sc from beginning of round 3Round 5: [ch5, sk ch from round 4, and sc before the next sc from round 4, 2sc, ] repeat all around
Round 6: [ch 3, sc in middle of ch5 from round 3, ch3, sc in middle of sc from 3sc from round 3, ch3] all around, end with
Edging:
With your dress up side down:
Top Edging: with Orange Yarn, sl st at corner of collar, sc in same st, 15sc all along the front collar
When reaching the corner,
2sc in corner st
Continue up with 15sc up along the shoulder strap,
then continue on the other side of strap, with 21 sc
15 sc along collar
When reaching the corner, 2sc in corner stitch
Repeat on other strap, 21sc up the strap, 15 down the other side of the strap, 2sc in corner st fasten off.
Arm holes:
sl st with orange yarn at corner, sc in same st, 12 sc along arm hole, 21 sc up shoulder strap
21 sc along other side of shoulder strap, sl st with first sc fasten off
Repeat on other side.
