By AnnooCrochet Designs

I am in Barcelona The beautiful, a city with a strong personality that is impossible not to fall in love with...
Spanish women wear scarves with style, silk, cotton, yarn, day or night.
So here is my Barcelona Antonio Gaudi and his Mosaics Inspired Version of a fall scarf,
Enjoy my fellow artists…

You will need:

Crochet Hook 4.00 mm
Red Heart Boutique Treasure in Horizon
Tapestry Needle

Stitches used:

ch: chain
sc: single crochet
dc cluster: double crochet cluster.
Sk: skip
St: stitch

Row 1: ch 32 ( or any multiple of 4 you wish) turn

Row 2: ch, sc in second ch from hook and in next st,

[ch2, sk 2st, 2sc] repeat all along, turn.

Row 3: ch4, *in next ch2 sp from round 2, make 3dc omitting the last step of each dc

Then yarn over the 4 loops on your crochet
 you just created a cluster.

ch2
and make a second cluster in the same ch2 space you made the first cluster *

repeat from * to * in next ch2 sp from round 2 all along

when you reach your last cluster, dc in last sc from round 2. turn

Row 4:  ch,
 sc in next st, ch,
in next 2ch sp from row 3, 2sc

[ch2, 2sc in next 2ch sp from row 3] all along, turn

You got the idea.

  1. I am over the moon crazy in love with ALL the shades of this yarn. I've been making one project after another with them! Love yours...and will likely have to shamelessly copy it so I have one of my own. Haven't used this color yet...it's fabulous! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Oh my goodness. I saw the stitches and fell in love! I have nothing in my stash like this yarn so I took what I had at hand started. A Peaches and Cream cotton! And you know what? It's still beautiful. I think I did 28 stitches (just kept counting to 4!) And with a SB size 9 (I or 5.5mm hook) it's gonna work. Thanks so much for your generosity in sharing this pattern. I've never been to Barcelona but great-grandparents were from Andalusia and the affinity is there for gorgeous mosaics. Thank you! And enjoy!
