Triangle and Square Puff Granny Free Pattern

You will Need:
Crochet hook : 2.25mm( or 2.75mm, you choose, they both work very well, the size of your Granny will vary depending on the hook size of your choice )
Tapestry Needle
Cascade ultra Pima yarn in Coral, Beige and Caramel


Stitches used
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
dc: double crochet
cl: cluster

st: stitches
sk: skip


Triangle Granny Pattern:

Round 1: With Coral yarn, In a magic circle, ch2,

make a  puff stitch but count the ch 2 as your first 2 loops,
ch3
make a puff st, ch3

  [3 puff st, ch3] 6 more times ,


 join with first puff.

Round 2: With Caramel Yarn, sl st in any ch3 space, ch2, make a  puff stitch but count the ch 2 as your first 2 loops,


 ch2
make another puff st in same ch3 sp, ch3
[ puff st in next ch sp, ch3, puff st] repeat 7 times


 Join with first ch2
Fasten off

Round 3: With Beige Yarn sl st in any of the ch2 sp from previous round , ch2



 dc in same sp

[Dc in next ch2 from previous round]4times



In next ch2 space, 2dc, ch3 2dc

 [Dc in next ch2 from previous round]4times
 In next ch2 space, 2dc, ch3 2dc
 [Dc in next ch2 from previous round] 5 times
 in next ch2 sp, 2dc, ch, sl st with first ch2


sl st with first ch2



Fasten off


Square Granny Pattern

Round 1 and 2 are the same as for the Granny Triangle

Round 3:With Beige Yarn, 2dc in next ch2 sp from previous round
ch2, 2dc in same ch sp
 [2dc in next ch2 space from previous round] 3 times

 2dc in next ch2 sp from previous round, ch2, 2dc in same ch sp,  [2dc in next ch2 space from previous round] 3 times


  2dc in next ch2 sp from previous round, ch2, 2dc in same ch sp,  [2dc in next ch2 space from previous round] 3 times

  2dc in next ch2 sp from previous round, ch2, 2dc in same ch sp,  [2dc in next ch2 space from previous round] 2 times, sl st with first ch2. Fasten off
