  1. I love this pattern but am having some trouble with the sole. In round 2 the stitch count is 27 but in round 3, it goes down to 24 but I don't see any instructions to decrease anywhere. Actually, I only have 18 stitches in round 1 unless the ending slip stitch is counted. Help! I'd really like to give these at a baby shower next week.

    1. I think the # 24 was a typo. I counted the stitches. I think it's supposed to be 34!

  2. I am having problem with the same issue. I do get 19 stiches after round one but end at like 25 stiches at end of round two. I've done it over and over and just simply adding the amount of stiches to do in that round it should total 25. It's driving me nuts! I'm about to just skip it and hope it evens out lol

    1. Also, if you take the amount of stiches in the 3rd row and add it to what I think the total should be (25) from the 2nd row, then the grand total at the end of row 3 is 34 which is what we belive that typo is. So I think row two should end with 25 stitches and row three should end with 34. Hope that helps people! :)

  3. This patern is soooooo cuuuuute ♥ tyvm for sharing (^:^)

  4. These are so cute! Can't wait to try them! Just out of curiosity, what weight is the yarn you used? I don't have that one available in my area and I'm wondering what else I could use. Would worsted weight be ok or is that too bulky?

    1. Yes, Worsted weight would be fine!!! Happy Crochet!!!

  5. I think these are so cute and your pattern well illustrated, i would love to have a go at making these but i live in the UK and not sure what yarn weight to use, with the pattern only starting with 8 ch sts would the yarn be worsed weight (4) which would be ARAN in the UK. Plus can you tell what the finshed size should be, Premie - newborn - 0-3mts etc. Kind Regards Je'anne

    1. Hi There, Yes the yarn is worsted weight, and the finished size is for a newborn, I would up the size of your crochet to a 3.75 mm hook for 0 to 3 months.
      Happy Crochet!!!

  7. Simple yet cute and very well explained pattern.
    Thanks a lot!

  8. I love it! I have just finished a pair for my 2 months baby. Do you have the pattern for 2 years? My oldest girl wants a pair for her. ♡ Thanks for sharing!

  9. Muy bonitos gracias por compartir y también por el tutoriales Dios le bendiga .

  10. I can not get the counts to come out. If row 2 has 25 stitches there isn't enough room for the stiches in row 3. I'm thinking that row 2 need to have 27 sts. as you originally said,
then all of row 3 would fit. So then row 1 needs more. At this point I give up. I really like the way the direction were given, much better than a video.

  11. well this pattern completely did me in. nothing came out right. when attaching the soles, where do you start to attach. I was way off on the design.

  12. Do you know how frustrating it is to print out a pattern and sit down and try it over and over again and realize the person who created the pattern cannot count!
