Spring Flower Granny Free Pattern

Spring Flower Granny Free Pattern
By AnnooCrochet Designs

The Nemo Blizzard has left his mark, beautiful snow is glistening outside my window, but all the cold and white powdery snow has left me craving for some spring hope and renewal and has given me the desire to create a spring feeling in my snowy home.
So what is better then creating a Spring baby blanket for a precious new little miracle?

You will need:

Hook 3.25mm
Tapestry Needle
Yarn: Berroco Comfort Dk inWhite, Turquoise, Orange, Yellow and Powder Blue

Stitches used in this Pattern:

Ch; chain
Sc: single crochet,
sk st: skip a stitch
Hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet

tr: trebble

Pattern:

Round 1: In a magic ring, hdc, ch1, 8 times sl st in first ch

Round 2: 2sc in each ch sp from round 1, sl st in first sc ( 16sc)

Round 3: Change color, in any st, sl st and ch 4, this will count as your first tr, [create a cluster with 5tr, ch4] 8 times, sl st in first cluster. (Creating a Cluster, means that you are making a tr, but not completing the last yarn over, leaving it on your hook until you have 5 st on your hook, in our case we will have 5st on our hook plus the ch from the ch 4,  then yarn over everything at once, therefore creating a cluster, see picture)

Round 4: Change Color, in any ch 4 sp, [2sc, tr in the sc from round 2, here it is the blue round, 2sc again in ch 4 sp, ch1, 2sc in next ch4 sp] 8 times.

Round 5: ch3, dc in next st, [dc, tr, ch, tr, dc], continue with 2dc, 3hdc, ch, 3hdc, 2dc,  [dc, tr, ch, tr, dc]) 7 more times. sl st to first ch3. fasten off
