Free Pattern Adorable Winter Mitten Ornament





Adorable Winter Mitten Ornament Free Pattern


Hook: 3.23mm and 3.75 mm
Worsted weight yarn

Stitches:
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
sl st: slip stitch
dc: double crochet
sk: skip
inc: increase
sc2tog: single 2 crochet together ( same as decrease)

Cuff:
ch6,
Row 1:in second ch from hook, sc all along (5sc)
Row 2 to 16:  ch1. in front loop only, sc all along (5sc)


Mitten's "Body":
Row 17, you will begin working in the round,  ch1 Sl st in the first st of right corner, then you will be working along one of the long sides of your cuff. you will have pick up 20 sc. sl st to first sc to work in the round.

Round 1: Change to bigger size hook, sl st, ch1, 10sc, inc, 10sc ( 22sc)

Round 2: sc all around.
Round 3: 10 sc, inc, 2sc, inc, 10sc (24sc).
Round 4: sc all around (24sc)
Round 5: 10sc, inc, 4sc, inc, 10sc (26sc)


Round 6: sc all around (26sc)
Round 7: 10sc, ch2, sk 4st, sl st in next st, 10sc (28sc)
Round 8 to12: sc all around (22sc)
Round 13:sc2tog all around (11sc)
Round 14: sc2tog (6sc) Fasten off

Thumb:
sl st in one of the 8 st left before.

Work in the round Round 1 :ch1, sc in same st, inc, 6sc, inc (10sc)
Round 2 to 4 : sc al around
Round 5: sc2tog all around fasten off.


For Loop: ch 13 attach to the back of mitten's cuff with tapestry needle
Voila You just made an adorable Mitten Ornament.

Rose Petals Flower Free pattern
With Hook size 3.5 mm and Yarn Lion brand Vanna's Choice

Ch: chain
sl st: slip stitch
sc: single crochet
dc: double crochet
tr : treble crochet

Ch 5, join with a sl st forming a ring.
You will be working in the round.
Round 1: (sc, 3dc, sc)  4 times, creating 4 petals.
Join with sl st in beg sc.


Round 2: ch1, you will be working behind the petals of Round 1 creating 4 ch loops like so:
(sc in back strand of last sc of next petal, ch 4) 3 times. Join with sl st in beg sc.


Round 3: In next ch 4 loop (sc, dc. tr, dc, sc, dc, tr, dr, sc) you just created 3 petals, repeat 3 more times, you will have 8 petals.


Round 4: You will be working behind petals of Round 3, sc in back strand of sc of next petal, (sc in back strand of last sc of next petal, ch 4)  you will end up with 8 loops.

Round 5: [In next ch4 loop, (sl st, ch3, 4dc, ch3, sl st)]  repeat 8 times.


 Fasten off

Mandala Free Pattern






Crochet Mandala pattern By AnnooCrochet Designs

Mandala is a Sanskrit word meaning "circle". In the Buddhist and Hindu religious traditions their sacred art often takes this form. Mandalas have spiritual and ritual significance in both Buddhism and Hinduism
Stitches used:
Ch: chain
Sl st: slip stitch
Sc: single Crochet
Hdc: half double Crochet
Dc: double Crochet
Cl: Cloister Instructions: 
YO, insert hook in next stitch, yo, pull through and bring yarn up to height of rest of stitches (3 loops on hook), YO, insert hook in SAME stitch, yo, pull through and bring yarn up to height of rest of stitches (5 loops on hook), YO, insert hook once again into the SAME stitch, yo, pull through and bring yarn up to height of rest of stitches (7 loops on hook),
Pull yarn through ALL loops on hook, ch1.

I used a Crochet Hook 4.00 mm My personal choice are the  Bamboo one.
The Yarn I used  is the  Berocco Comfort in 5 different Colors. A: Grey (729       B: Burgundy (717      C:Pink 9705  D:  Dark Purple 9769     E:   Lavender 9728


Crochet is made in the round.
With A, Begin with a magic ring. .Round 1: ch3, 17dc in the circle, sl st in the 3 ch of the first ch3 .(18st) 


Round 2:  With B , 2dc in each st all around, sl st in first st of previous row
(36st)







Round 3:  With C sc all around (36st)








Round 4: With D , dc all around (36 St)







Round 5: With E: ( hdc, 2hdc in next xt) all around (54sc)






Round 6 :With A:  hdc all around (54st) 
Round 7: With A :(3sc, Cloister in next st ) all around (56st)







Round 8:With A :  hdc  all around (56 st )
Round 9: With B (2 hdc,, 2hdc in next st) all around (76 st)






Round 10: With C Dc all around (76st)






Round 11: With E: (3sc,  2 sc in next st, but in the stitch of the previous row )all around. (98st)










Voila You just Created your Mandala
It is beautiful just as it is, but
You may repeat the whole process to create a two sided pot holder, or sew it together wrong side facing and fill it with Polyfill to create a  small pillow.

Row 2 :join Color Honey in base of first group, ch 2, (3dc,sc) in same base st,skip st, (dc, tr,     3dtr), (tr, dc) in next st, skip st, (sc,dc, 3tr in next st, (dc, sc), skip st, ch in base of first group.

Row 3: Join Color “ Autumn Print” in first ch off second row, ch, 2sc in each of the 3 dc, sl st 2, sc, (2sc) 3 times,sc, 2ss, sc, (2sc ) 3 times, sc, ss, ssin 23rd ch.
 Continue around, 2sc, 2sc in each of the 3tr, 2sc in next st , 2 sl st, sc, (2sc )3 times,sc, sl st, sl st, (2sc )3 times, sc, sl st, (2sc) 3 times, sl st Fasten Off.



    With tapestry Needle sew  the Leaf to the side of your box and Voila
